As a large business thyssenkrupp have multiple sites with differing demands when it comes to energy. The administration alone of completing renewals for all of the meters is a mammoth task. One of our first responsibilities was to align all electricity contract renewals so they had the same end date creating a much faster and simpler procurement process for the future.

thyssenkrupp were assigned a dedicated EIC team to advise on the best approach and management of their electricity and gas contracts. thyssenkrupp has 24 electricity meters, across 9 sites, for two different divisions of their business. As a result our initial aim was to simplify things for the business by consolidating contracts and maximising efficiencies. This ensures less administration and a swifter process for forthcoming renewals. In addition, through our effective management of the gas contracts and identifying the most opportune time to fix, we have achieved savings of over £28,000 per annum.
The team were also on hand to assist when thyssenkrupp received a supplier bill of £52,000 which they believed to be too high. After thorough investigation by our bureau team we identified that not only was the bill incorrect but thyssenkrupp were actually due and subsequently credited £3,300 instead.
Our support further extends to providing bespoke reporting to assist with internal environmental reporting.
