Industry NewsThe Government has released the league table for the best performing business in the Carbon Reduction Commitment (CRC) scheme. While the main financial benefits of coming high in these rankings have now been removed, the table still provides a good indication of a company's environmental credentials.
The CRC Energy Efficiency Scheme Performance League Table can be found by clicking on the link to the right. Nearly 3,000 business have been ranked, with 22 coming joint first. The Environment Agency's Director of Environment and Business Ed Mitchell commented, "It's very encouraging that six out of ten organisations taking part in the scheme have taken steps to improve their energy management."
