EIC was proud to be a main exhibitor and Event Partner at this year's Energy Event. Held on 13 and 14 September and based for the first time at the NEC in Birmingham, the show attracted over 3,500 visitors. Alongside headline speakers Karren Brady and Lord Digby Jones, Jon Ferris - Head of Risk Management at EIC 'simplified energy' on both days. Covering key market drivers and buying strategies, Jon ensured major energy users left the EIC seminars with a greater knowledge of the market and how to procure the best deal for their organisation.
By donating 2 pounds to charity for every business card collected on its stand EIC managed to raise 500 pound, split evenly between the NSPCC and The Prostate Cancer Charity. With over 500 bottles of branded water and 600 EIC cake pops given away at the event, EIC ensured that attendees visiting their stand didn't leave empty handed.
Simon Butterfield, EIC Managing Director, commented "This year's Energy Event was another great success for EIC. Re-locating to the NEC has taken the exhibition to the next level. The hall, seminars and facilities were first class. Over the two day event we met and further strengthened relationships with a number of clients, prospects and suppliers. I'd like to thank everyone who visited the EIC stand and for helping us to support two worthy charities."
Chris Taylor, Strategic Marketing Manager added "Our stand was bigger than ever this year and our branded cake pops were a real hit. We look forward to catching up again soon with everyone we met at the event."
